Enjoy a morning with clergy and laity who are creatively loving their neighbors and neighborhood.

Our Christian faith is rooted in place.
From the Garden to Galilee, the story of God is the story of God, People, Place.

Our current culture is unrooted.
The physical distance, relational divisiveness, and digital distractions have eroded our sense of belonging. Our life and our faith have been uprooted. We are no longer grounded in place.

To borrow and bend a phrase from Eugene Peterson, we believe personal formation and communal transformation are cultivated by “a long obedience in the same location”.

GRACE + PLACE is specifically hosted for pastors and parishioners to come together to talk about how to love our neighbors and neighborhoods. Civic and church leaders will their share the perspectives and practices on the core commandment of Jesus to “love your neighbor as yourself”.

We believe geography is critical to the health of our spirituality.

We want to reestablish the roots of our faith in the soil of place.
